What if God has a blog?

A few nights ago, as I was trying to sleep I had this thought. "What if God has a blog? What kinda things will He put in His blog?"

I suppose if He had a message box, the first message from Him will be " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

What picture or message would God have splattered right at the top of his blog? Perhaps a shot from the movie Passion of Christ with the words "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

How about Twitters? Will God twitt that He is trying to knock some sense into some of us stubborn ones. Hehe!

The one I couldn't figure out is posts. I mean what would God post? I cannot even begin to imagine what is in God's infinite mind.

What would you comment if God posted? Can we argue with the almighty God? What would you ask God in His blog? I might ask God how many people will be needed to screw on a light bulb in heaven. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink to Michael Leong)

Talking about Mike, the reason I'm posting this is because halfway through mulling my thoughts with him, he answered me with a snore. Heheh! Can't blame him coz he was very tired that day. We also take turns to discuss things with 'snores' occasionally. Sometimes I do it at the beginning of our conversation; the moment my head touches the pillow. Anyway, what would u guys say to God having a blog? I did come to a conclusion and this is my conclusion.

If God had a blog, God's blog will be The Bible. God has told us everything we need to know in that Holy book. The story of the Israelites and the Father, the story of Jesus, the story of the Holy Spirit and in the end, Jesus is coming. I'm no theologian so this is the lay man's view I have.

If I may quote Revelation 22:18-21

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.
Can u see the love this Father has for his child? I like the way Mike holds Miracle. How his strong hands supports her. Can you see a smile peeking through Mike's lips? I also like to imagine the adoration in little Miracles eyes for her dad as she looks up at his face. This photo helps to remind me of God's love and the reason I worship Him everyday.

I am so proud of myself

Saturdays… I love Saturdays. Last Saturday, was an exciting one for me. I did many things that I’ve never done before.

Nope, I did not get my nose pierced although I have been considering about it. Nor did I bungee jump off a bridge, I don’t think I’ll ever have the guts for that. Not even if I was chased by a pack of blood thirsty, rabid infested wolves. Anyway, it may seem mundane for some but it was an achievement for me and I daresay I am PROUD of MYSELF! Hahahah!!!

I took Miracle on an LRT ride all by myself last Saturday! It was only when I stepped into the jam packed LRT that I realized I couldn’t possibly stay upright with one hand carrying my 9.8kg baby and another hand juggling between getting her stuff if she fusses and trying to hold on to the pole. Thank God there were such nice people on the train who let me have their seats. Funny thing was both times, it was the ladies who gave up their seats. Way to go ladies!! Where did all the nice men go??!!

Although I acquired a great sense of achievement by taking the LRT alone with Miracle, boy was it tiring! Although I seriously detest driving around KL, perhaps I should. Now I know why everyone wants to buy a car or two.

After the LRT accomplishment, the next was taking care of a sleep deprived baby and trying to have lunch with my colleagues; alone. You see, I am a much pampered wife and mother. My husband is usually the one taking care of my baby when we r out. Especially when we go for dinner etc. So, sad to say, I haven’t had much practice. Miracle and I both made it in one piece. (Applause, ladies and gentleman!). I was up to my neck by the time we were leaving and the thought of the LRT ride home was making me nervous. Thank God my supervisor gave me a ride even though it was quite out of the way. Not to mention braving the Saturday afternoon jam. With all that kindness showered upon me, I was ballooning with feel good vibes which sustained me through the next adventure: THE LIFT!

After a long day, our little family went to a relative’s house and got stuck in the lift. Probably about 20 mins according to my husband. I wasn’t keeping time cause I was thinking of how to perform CPR in case my baby passes out in the stuffy lift. Heheh!! Paranoia that mothers have… Through out the 20 minutes, my little one was fanned by two pretty “jie jie” ‘s. It's fortunate we got stuck with such caring people.

I’m glad Malaysia is still filled with kind people.

A tired Miracle after a long day.

Sacrifice by Bob Fits

Tommorow I'm gonna bring Miracle on the LRT. My biggest fear (call me paranoid) is that someone will snatch her away from me. I can't imagine the loneliness, sadness and emptiness I'll feel. I wonder if it's the same thoughts Abraham had as he hiked up the mountain to sacrifice Isaac.

Chicken feet

If you cut it off, the chicken will die...

“If you cut it off, the chicken will die.” I’m sure you’re wondering which part of the chicken I’m talking about. Last week, I was having lunch with my class children and we were having chicken stew that day. I was famished after working half the day; it seems that my appetite remains at the time when I’m 9 months pregnant with Miracle. So, I piled up my bowl with rice, potato, carrots and the most important ingredient in the stew -chicken!! However, since the meaty drumsticks, breasts and wings were given to the children, we teachers had a sumptuous choice of chicken feet, neck…umm and others? Anyway, I returned to the table with a mountain of food enough to beat the salad goers at Pizza Hut’s salad bars. As I was enjoying the food, one child accused me of killing chickens. My curiosity perked, I proceeded to interrogate that child. ”Why did you say that?”

You know what the kid told me? She said “After you cut off the chicken feet, then you throw away the chicken so the chicken die loh.” It took a while for her statement to sink in but in the end I realized that she thought I slaughtered one particular chicken to get my lunch -2 chicken feet to go with my rice. Before I retaliated with a “what about you?” question, another kid proceeded to explain the reason of the death of the chicken “Yaloh, if you cut the feet, the chicken cannot walk, then he will die.” I didn’t know whether to laugh or bang my head on the table.

As adults, I’m sure we think a child’s view is so narrow. They can’t see the big picture. They are too focused etc. Maybe some of u non-children lovers might even think children are dumb. Well, come to think of it, how many of us are like that. When God didn’t give us that guy or girl of our dreams, we think God is dooming us to a life time of singleness. When we don’t see that committed Christian we need in our ministry, we think God has forgotten us. Sometimes, I hear something that came out wrong from my hubby’s mouth and I forget the millions of wonderful things he has done for me. What I do to him then; is of course, another story.

My Mother's Day Tribute

This is the video that made my day on Mother's Day. See how cute Miracle is
